Magdalena the Fortune Teller is a comedy fortune-telling show from Berlin, performed in English. This is the story of her secret trip to Los Angeles to audition for Season 21 of America's Got Talent.
Magdalena was invited to Hollywood.
As you know, the celebrities over there are extremely anxious about their future, and there was no other way to help those poor people than to come in person. The stars of the universe are much clearer than the stars of Hollywood, I can tell you that.
**How a Berlin fortune teller got invited to America's Got Talent**
How did it happen? Magdalena was invited to take part in America's Got Talent. Although Magdalena is not from America, they have started importing talent from across the ocean.
**Arriving in Los Angeles**
Magdalena arrived in glamorous LA on her magic carpet (or, as some call it, economy class).
Wandering the streets of LA, Magdalena became a little furious when she could not find her own name on the Hollywood Walk of Fame. No worries, the case has been reported to the FBI.
Magdalena climbed all the way up to the Hollywood sign (or took an Uber), only to realise she had already seen it in so many movies.
The energy in LA is very different from Berlin. To blend in, Magdalena would have needed to fill herself up with Botox and cosmetic surgery. She decided to skip that.
**Magdalena at the AGT auditions**
The AGT experience was magnificent. All the other contestants asked Magdalena how it would go for them. And now that the season is over, Magdalena can confirm that she is indeed 0.1% accurate.
The celebrity judges were overwhelmed, the tech people were amazed, the audience went wild, and the cleaning staff wanted to go home. The energy was so high that the cameras burned out, and that is why the audition never aired.
Well, what can you say. Magdalena has powers, as we all know.
**See Magdalena the Fortune Teller live in Berlin**
Hollywood had its chance. Now it's your turn. Magdalena performs her comedy fortune-telling show in English at Z-Bar in Berlin, with predictions that are barely accurate but definitely unforgettable. After a sold-out run at the Edinburgh Fringe 2025, The Scotsman called it "unexpected, clever, ridiculous but great stuff."
